The number of bypass diodes is essential in a solar junction box. A high quality junction box would have multiple diodes that you can utilize. A minimum of two would be required to create a basic power junction, but extra diodes won’t hurt. Hence, a rating of IP68 is the best that you can get. That said, protection from liquid ingress is less important than solid ingress, so even if you get an IP65 or IP64 this should still work. Just avoid anything whose first number in the rating is lower than 5.
