Fym, also known as Fym Summer, is the only Singaporean singer-songwriter musical artist invited to perform at the world-renowned South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival at Austin, Texas in March 2018 and Canadian Music Week (CMW) in Toronto, Canada in May 2018 alongside with many other international musicians.

Her music is notable for her dreamy intimate vocals and rueful narrative songwriting shown in her recordings taken with minimal embellishments, with music critics describing her as a masterful singer-songwriter and her songwriting as warm, natural, and emotionally affecting, comparable to the works of Fiona Apple, Keren Ann and Joni Mitchell.

She is one of the featured singer-songwriters at Noise Singapore 2015 held by National Arts Council of Singapore. Between 2015 to early 2017, Fym Summer has released her debut EP “Heart”, her signature, satirical single-track “Truth” and her sophomore EP “Luna”. Her records received rave responses and reviews from audience, with music journalists, critics and audience highly commending on her masterful songwriting and compelling vocal performance.

After performing at Royal Academy of Music in London, United Kingdom, Fym delivered a riveting performance of her latest songs such as ‘Truth’ and ‘This Girl’ (”Luna” EP) for the UN Women’s 16 days of activism, which strives to galvanize action to end violence against women at the campaign in 2016.
A rare and well sought-after musical artist, Fym has also performed many various featured shows and music festivals including Singapore Heritage Festival by National Heritage Board, Starbucks Coffee Tour, at South Korea’s innovative music cafe dal.komm COFFEE, Singapore General Hospital music tour for the patients as well as at iconic arts venues such as Esplanade Theatre and Gardens By The Bay in Singapore and across the world.
